At the Selim Al Din Open Stage at Jahangirnagar University, the drama 'Khowaanama' will be staged at 6:30pm today evening at the 50th anniversary of the Jahangirnagar Theater.
In the backdrop of the partition of 1947 based on the famous novelist Akhtaruzzaman Elias’ original story, 'Khoyabanama' talks of the predicaments of people during that time. Through this story, the novelist delivers the life and reality of time.
Khowabanama has been dramatized by Md Shawkat Hossain Sajib. Kazi Toufiqul Islam Emon has directed. Sanjida Preetti, Sakhawat Hossain Rizvi, Monirul Islam Rubel, Chetna Rahman Vasha, Shashank Saha, Md Sohail Rana, Mitul Rahman, Tanjikun, Saidur Rahman Shaheen, Srabon Shamim will act in the play. Lyrics by Rahul Anando, music by Nil Kamrul, choreography by Snata Shahrin, stage by ABS Gem, Light projection by Bhabna Thandu Raihan.
