Power Division, under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Recourses, has achieved first position in implementing the annual performance agreement (APA) among the 51 ministries and divisions of the government. The division also achieved the first position last year.
Power Division, according to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Recourses, has completed 100 percent work of 49 tasks out of 57, and its overall achievement is 96.46 point. On the other hand, energy and mineral resources got 94.76 point and it achieved third position.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Nasrul Hamid said, “It’s a very good news for us. If we work together as a team then it will must bring success. This remarkable achievement is for all officers and employees of the power and energy division, who are working hard to illuminate the country.”
The APA is an agreement between the Cabinet Secretary as a representative of the Government and the Secretary of the Ministry or Division concerned as the representative of the Minister of the Ministry. APA have been introduced under the Government Performance Management System to increase transparency and accountability in government activities, ensure proper utilization of resources and improve institutional capacity.
