The news of actress Pori Moni’s wedding was revealed recently while the whole country is gripped with fear of coronavirus. The actress was secretly married in Dhaka's Rajarbagh Kazi office last night. Her groom's name is Kamruzzaman Ronnie. He is associated with the theater group Nagorik Natya Angan. He is also a small screen actor.
When contacted to confirm the news, Pori Moni said, "I got married all of a sudden. No one in the family knows yet. I wanted to experience how it is to elope and get married. I am now shooting for the ‘Adventure of Sundarbans’ movie. I'll be back in Dhaka a few days later. I'll have a wedding ceremony soon.’
Ronnie has been working as assistant director for actress and producer Hrithik Haq's '1971: Shei Shob Din'. Pori Moni is acting in it. Pori Moni first met him five months ago when she was hearing the story of this film. Then they got to know each other. Suddenly Ronnie proposed to Pori Moni. They got married that same night.
