Police in Bogura have been working relentlessly as elsewhere in the country to enforce the lockdown in a bid to stem the spread of coronavirus.
On Sunday, members of law enforcement agencies were seen restricting the traffic and people’s movement at the different points including Borogola area in the district town. Police also took awareness initiatives to prevent the coronavirus spread.
Officer-In-Charge of Bogura Sadar Police Station SM Badiuzzaman was seen making announcement using hand mike at Borogola area urging pedestrians to practice social distance and people to stay home. “We must be aware and abide by the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to prevent the coronavirus outbreak,” OC Badiuzzaman said.
