Police fighting on ground overcoming fear of Corona: CMP Chief

Instructing the police to perform their duties with honesty, devotion and sense of duty, Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir said, “The police are always playing a role in every crisis of the nation. The Corona Crisis is no exception.  Overcoming the fear of death, every member of the police field is fighting the Coronation War with courage”.

He said this at a meeting held at Multipurpose Shed at Dampara Police Lines in the city on Thursday.

These policemen went to the PRL after a long and successful 39 years of successful assignment.  Police Commissioner at the time bade farewell to Police Member SI (Armed)/Sardar Rabiul Islam, ASI (Armed) Parimal Das, Constable Md Abdul Hakim, Constable Md Sahabullah, Constable Subhash Chandra Barua, Constable Priyotosh Dutta, Constable Md Nur Nabi and Office Assistant Shawkat Ali.

The police commissioner presented cash prizes to the two teams through the champions and runners-up team captains and team managers in the finals of the Cup Inter-Company Football Tournament.

 Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance) Sana Shaminur Rahman, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) Md Shamsul Alam, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Shyamal Kumar Nath, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Md Amir Zafar and senior officials were present at this occasion.
