‘Police are working to consolidate democracy’

Police department is working to consolidate democracy, said Dhaka Range DIG Habibur Rahman to journalist at Kishoreganj Police Super’s office conference room on Monday.

He also said, in a democratic state, there is a close and friendly relationship between police and citizens and the police department is always vigilant for the welfare of the people.

Earlier, he inaugurated one-stop service on the ground floor of the Police Super Office to provide police assistance within the stipulated time.

He added that the whole world knows that Bangladesh is a safe country. This can be easily understood by looking at the law and order situation in other countries of the world during the Corona period. The government, law enforcement and the media all played a vital role in achieving this.

The DIG said that, “Police as a controlling force is working in a people-friendly manner. If you have any information about any misdeeds of police, write to us or let us know and we will take action".

At that time, Dhaka Range DIG Habibur Rahman BPM (Bar), PPM (Bar) praised the Police Super Md Mashrukur Rahman Khaled for improving the law and order situation in Kishoreganj. 

Police Super Md Mashrukur Rahman Khaled, Additional Police Super Mizanur Rahman, Additional Police Super Masud Anwar, Additional Police Super Anirban Chowdhury and others were present at that time.
