Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate Benapole-Dhaka direct non-stop train service on July 17 (Wednesday).
Bangladesh Railway director general Md. Shamuzzaman said that the train service will inaugurate through a video conference from Ganobhaban.
The Prime Minister named the train service "Benapole Express". When the Padma Bridge will start, India --Bangladesh Friendship Train service will leave Dhaka through Padma Bridge and go to Kolkata via Benapole.
In view of the good launch of the train service, DG inspection of Benapole Railway Station on Saturday noon. the General Manager of Bangladesh Railway Department said this.
