AD Vision Bangladesh organised month-long tree planting and cleaning activities have been inaugurated in different parts of the city on the occasion of Great International Mother Language Day on Amar Ekushey February.
Chattogram Metropolitan Awami League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor was the chief guest in cooperation with Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury on Monday afternoon.
Chief guest Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor said that trees are an integral part of human life. There is no substitute for trees to control oxygen and environmental balance. Trees also play an important role in promoting natural beauty and mental health.
Applauding the overall cooperation of CCC Mayor M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury in such a great initiative, he said that the honorable mayor's role in every work for the sake of Chattogram deserves praise.
