Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain MP, Chairman of Parliamentary Committee on LGRD Ministry, convened an emergency meeting on the overall situation of coronavirus infection in Faridpur on Monday.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Faridpur Atul Sarker, while Advisor of District Corona Committee Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain was the chief guest. It was held at DC office’s conference room.
At the time, he said the country is now facing a catastrophic situation. He urged doctors to follow the promises that they made to the country and nation. He said aiming at the doctors, “You indicate how the patient should be presented before you. We will send the patient to you in that way.
But if you do not perform that duty and are away from medical care for fear of infection, we will have no way to cope with the disaster. Let us deal with this disaster together. From now on, do your duty properly”.
The meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police Md. Alimuzzaman, Civil Surgeon Dr Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Faridpur Medical College Hospital Director, Dr. Md Saifur Rahman and Principal of Faridpur Medical College Dr Khabirul Islam among others.
