The first PhD seminar on 'The creed on Emotional Empathy in E.M Forster's Novels' wad held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday.
IU English department organised the seminar at the room no-210 of Rabindra-Nazrul Arts’ building around 11:00am. IU Arts faculty dean Prof Dr. Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari addressed the programme as the cheif guest while reasercher Afroza Siddika, student of English department presented the article under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mamunur Rahman of the same department.
Prof Dr. Shahadat Hossain Azad attended here as a cheif discussant with Prof Dr. Miah M Rashiduzzaman, Chairman of the department in the chair.
Above 20 teachers from various department were present here. The reasearcher presented the dichotomy of liberal humanism in E.M Forsters Novels at the seminar.
