In Mirsarai Upazila of Chittagong District, International Voluntary Organization Junior Chamber Chittagong has distributed 10 wheel chairs among physically challenged people.
On Monday (December 19), he distributed these wheelchairs among physically challenged people at Elite's home in Noidawar area of the upazila.
Niaz Morshed Elit, two-time elected president of Junior Chamber Bangladesh, Central Jubo League member and son of Mirsharai, said that Junior Chamber Chittagong has been doing great work like distribution of wheel chairs for disabled people for a long time under the program called 'Well Being 2022' to bring smiles to the faces of helpless people. has taken up and continues to complete it successfully. Following this, wheelchairs were provided to 10 people in Mirsharai today. Niaz Morshed Elite said that this program will be more dynamic in the future.
Shan Shahed, President of Junior Chamber Chittagong said, "Today we provided wheelchairs to 10 people in Mirsharai as part of other initiatives of Junior Chamber Chittagong, Well Bing." He also said that Junior Chamber Bangladesh has been doing a lot of social activities throughout the year for the needy people.
With the financial support of Junior Chamber Chittagong and the local disabled people's organization Mirsharai Development Organization of Disabled People and Youth Development Center Bangladesh Pratibandhi Bachai and provide overall support.
Md. Akbar Hossain, President of Mirsharai Development Organization for Disabled Persons and Achief Rahman Shaheen, Founder and President of Youth Development Center Bangladesh were present in the event. Junior Chamber Chittagong Secretary Ismail Munna, GLC Raju Ahmed, Treasurer Junaid Ahmed Rahat, Director Nahid Moin, Shahabuddin Parvez, Saihan Hasnat, members Alamin Mehraj and Farooq Islam were also present.
