Permanent solution of IU transport problem demanded

An open discussion on ‘Transport Mobility’ was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Wednesday demanding permanent solution over the current problems in transport section of the university. IU unit of Bangladesh Chhatra Union and Chhatra Moitree jointly organized the programme at Princes Daina Chattar adjacent to the university administrative building on the campus around 12:00pm.

GK Sadik, sectary of IU Chhatra Union conducted the discussion programme while its president Nurun Nobi Sobuz, Chhatra Moitre unit president Abdur Rouf and secretary Mutasim Billah Pappu, IU BCL unit leader Faisal Siddique Arafat spoke out the event, among others.

Jamal Hossain, assistant register of IU Transport office and Abul Khayer, a supervisor of Bus driver answered the question of the students in support of Prof Dr Rezuanul Islam, director of IU Transport office. While addressing, the general students raised various current problems of the sector and demanded immediate solution of the problems.

The representatives of IU Transport office assured the students that the problems will be solved as early as possible.
Over hundred students of various department attended the open discussion programme while they expressed condemn on IU Transport director and Students advisor Prof Dr Saidur Rahman as they were absent after assuring them.
