The leaders and activists of the party in Chattogram welcomed Barrister Biplab Barua, special assistant to the Prime Minister, as he was re-elected as the office secretary in the central committee of Awami League.
Chattogram Metropolitan, North and South District Awami League organized this reception at the old railway station premises of Chattogram on Thursday afternoon. Awami League, Jubo League, Swechasebak League and Chhatra League leaders and activists from Chattogram city and district brought a procession to the station premises in the reception ceremony organized by making a temporary stage on a truck in the railway station premises.
Biplab Barua said, "In politics, rank is not a big thing, the biggest thing in politics is to gain people's trust and love." The Prime Minister has evaluated the people of Chattogram for running the government and the party.
