On the occasion of Great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day-2022 in Gopalganj, people of all walks of life including Gopalganj district administration paid their homage to the languages martyrs by laying floral wreaths at the central Shaheed Minar of the district park.
According to strict hygiene rules, Deputy Commissioner Shahida Sultana with senior officers of Gopalganj District Administration, then Superintendent of Police Ayesha Siddique with senior officers of District Police, then Chairman of District Council Bir Muktijoddha Chowdhury Emdadul Haque, District Awami League General Secretary Mahabub Ali Khan, District Freedom Fighter Command, Municipal Mayor Kazi Liaquat Ali, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Sujat Ahmed, Sheikh Sayera Khatun Medical College Hospital Principal Md. Zakir Hossain, Assistant Director of Gopalganj 250-bed General Hospital Dr. Asit Kumar Mallick, District Public Works Department Executive Engineer Amit Kumar Dev, LGED's Executive Engineer.
