Using the 'Amar Gari Nirapad’ apps, the Chawkbazar police recovered the mobiles, valuables and necessary documents left in CNG by mistake and handed them over to the passengers.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chawkbazar Police Station Ferdous Jahan informed about the matter on Tuesday morning.  He said the lost bag was handed over to passenger Johra Begum (55) and her daughter-in-law Md. Minhaj Uddin (28) last night.

Earlier, passenger Johra Begum and her daughter's son-in-law came to the police station on Monday evening and informed that they had come to Max Hospital under Chawkbazar police station to see the doctor with the test report from Chevron Diagnostics.

After a while, when she remembered the bag, Johra Begum quickly went to the place where the CNG was and saw that there was no CNG.  Johra Begum came from distant Satkania to Chattogram with her daughter's son-in-law for treatment.

When he later appeared at the police station and told the whole story, the duty officer immediately recorded the matter in a general diary.  The CNG numbers were identified by collecting CCTV camera footage of the mobile team, Max Hospital and surrounding areas from the GD source.

After collecting the owner and driver information from the CMP's 'Amar Gari Nirapad' database, the bag with all its belongings was recovered and handed over to Johra Begum within 4 hours of its disappearance.
