Panchagarh people smart from cold wave

In the northernmost district of Panchagarh, the life of the people is subdued in winter. The severity of winter has increased due to thick fog and hiding of sun. People's life has been disrupted due to severe winter. Destitute people are spending their days helpless in the harsh winter. Tentulia of Panchagarh is the last upazila of the northern town of the country. Being very close to the Himalayas, the severity of winter here is more every year. But this time the winter is a little more severe. Although the severity of winter started at the beginning of December, unbearable conditions have been created at the beginning of Pahela Poush on 16th December. 

The lowest temperature in the country has started shaking the bones in this upazila. Fluctuating temperature. Although the sky is clear on some days, sweet sunshine is seen in the morning. Some days from night till the next morning, the surroundings are covered with thick fog. The district is feeling extremely cold due to Konkan frosty winds in the morning and at night.

At 9 am on Saturday (December 24), the minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius in Tentulia, according to Met Office sources. Russel Shah, officer-in-charge of Tentulia Meteorological Office of Panchagarh, confirmed the matter.

Rashel Shah said that the lowest temperature recorded in Tantulia today was 10 degrees Celsius. Temperatures have dropped slightly due to northerly frosty winds and fog. It was 12.3 degrees Celsius recorded yesterday in Tentulia. He also said that this kind of weather may prevail for a few days, but it is not possible to say that the temperature may rise tomorrow.

Meanwhile, towards the end of this month, the impact of winter is being noticed the most. However, due to the northerly frosty winds, the intensity of cold was equal day and night. The people of the area are distressed by the wind in Konkan.

Due to the increasing severity of Shige, the number of patients admitted with cold and cold-related diseases is increasing in Panchagarh Modern

 And most of the patients who come to the hospital for treatment are children and elderly patients. Only those who are getting sicker are admitted to hospital.
