Palichhara village celebrating victory of BD Women Football Team

Palichhra village of Sadyapuskarni Union of Rangpur is floating with happiness as Bangladesh beat Nepal 3-1 on Nepali ground. Bangladesh beat India 3-0 with a pair of goals by Sirat Jahan Swapna, a girl from this village. Swapna gave a goal against Pakistan. After 12 minutes of scoring a goal to Bhutan, Sapna left the field with an injury. Sapna's dream was connected with the success of the Bangladesh team. Swapna's family is happy because the dream came true. After winning the match, the people of Palichhra sang and danced with joy and congratulated Swapna's parents and coach Milan Miya, whose hand has reached this stage in the football world.

Swapna's mother Lippi Begum said that Swapna has been involved with football since 2011. On the night of the match, she asked for prayers from everyone on the phone, so that the team can win. Her dream has come true. Swapna's parents expressed that they are all happy with the success of their daughter and the country. Swapna's father Moktar Ali said in an emotional voice, two of our three daughters are married. Swapna is the youngest. "My daughter's team is the champion of the SAFF Games today. Everyone including the President and Prime Minister are congratulating the team. 

Milon Miah, coach of newly established youth sporting club AFC 'B' license, said, I am very happy with the success of Bangladesh and Swapna. Swapna was fielded in the final. But due to injury, she was withdrawn after a while. Swapna scored a total of four goals against India, Pakistan and Bhutan. Villagers of Palichra and Rangpur are very happy with this success.

Palichra village is about 15 km from Rangpur city. Its location is Sadapushkarani Union of Sadar Upazila. Here, once upon a time, boys' sports were a nightmare. There girls have achieved the glory of being the best of the country in football several times. At present several female footballers of Palichra are undergoing advanced training. Newly established youth sporting clubs at the national level are contributing to the development of women athletes. Which has already managed to catch the attention of the countrymen.
