Palak urges youths to follow Bangabandhu’s ideology

ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said Bangabandhu was honest, courageous and uncompromising in his personal life. He said that in 1938, when the labor minister of undivided Bengal, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, visited Bangabandhu's mission school in Gopalganj, Bangabandhu did not hesitate to speak about his just demands about the need of repair of the school building

State Minister Palak on Friday at the initiative of Dhaka University Chhatra League Shamsun Nahar hall branch mourned for the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangmata Fazilatunnesa Mujib. ‘Bangabandhu will remain in the heart of every Bangladeshi, Palak said that in his speech in the discussion meeting.

The state minister said that Bangabandhu has given the status of our mother language, established the independent sovereignty of Bangladesh. The ideals and examples left from generation to generation should be followed in our personal and national life as well as reflected through actions.

Stating that he is the only leader in the history of the world who never followed an opaque method in his life, the state minister said that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was honest in his personal life, courageous in his political life, transparent in his family life, very visionary in his national life, international life.  He was a symbol of justice, Palak added. The State Minister said that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has laid the foundation of modern information technology of independent Bangladesh by setting up geo-satellite sub-center in Betbunia.

He said, Bangabandhu always thought to build a science-minded nation and a technology-based Bengal. The soil and people of Bangladesh were the focus of Bangabandhu's creation of a discrimination-free country.

Meher Afroz Chumki, Women Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League and President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Women and Children Affairs was present as the chief guest in the event. Bangladesh Awami League Central Executive Member Marufa Akhtar Popi and Dhaka University Shamsun Nahar Hall Principal Professor Dr Lafifa Jamal spoke as special speakers. 

President of Dhaka University Chhatra League Shamsun Nahar Hall Branch President Khadija Akhtar Urmi spoke in the event among others. Bangladesh Chhatra League President Al Nahian Khan Joy, general resource writer Bhattacharya Dhaka University Chhatra League General Secretary Saddam Hossain, former president of Shamsun Nahar Hall Branch Nipu Islam Tanni, former General Secretary Jiasmin Shanta and other leaders were present there.
