State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP distributed relief items among hundreds of flood affected people taking shelter at five shelters in Kalam Union of Singra Upazila of Natore on Wednesday afternoon.
Kalam UP Chairman Moinul Islam Chunu, Singra Upazila Awami League Religious Affairs Secretary Ruhul Amin and other government officials were present during the relief distribution.
State Minister Palak said various measures have been taken to protect the flood-hit people, including providing food and medical assistance. He added that, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will not let a single person starve in the country.
