Alhaj Nasir Uddin, proprietor of Pacific Jeans has died. He died at a hospital in Thailand on Monday.
Nasir Uddin's body will be flown from Thailand to Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport on Wednesday morning. His first janaza will be held at Chittagong EPZ around 9 am today.
According to family sources of Alhaj Nasir Uddin, his second janaza will be held on the same day at the premises of Jamiatul Falah Jame Mosque. He will be buried in the family graveyard of his home in Salimpur.
Earlier, the third janaza of the deceased will be held there.
Pacific Jeans started in 1984 with just 200 workers. The name of the factory in Chittagong at that time was NZN Fashion. The factory in Chittagong EPZ started a new way called Pacific Jeans in 1994. At that time 1.5 thousand workers were working in the factory. Pacific Jeans Limited currently employs more than 30,000 people directly.
Nasir Uddin was the main driver to bring the organization to its present state. She is survived by her three children, Syed Mohammad Tanvir, Syed Mohammad Tansir and Syed Mohammad Tahmir.
