Police personnel in Pabna has found an illegal gun factory during a drive. Members of Aminpur Police Station seized two with 3 locally made guns, gun making equipment, a huge stash of adulterated medicine and its raw materials on Monday.
The arrestees are Abdullah Al Mansur Mithu, resident of Bera Upazila and Abdul Al Siam, resident of the same area. They have been sent to court on Tuesday. Pabna Police Super Mohibul Islam Khan at a press briefing said, “Acting on tip off, police personnel conducted a secret drive at the house of Alam Hossain of Aminpur Upazila on Monday noon. An illegal gun factory was found in the house. A revolver, two shutter guns, a toy pistol, huge amount of adulterated medicine, raw materials and chemicals for making medicines were seized from the house. Two have been nabbed during this drive.”
“In the primary interrogation, the detainees have confessed their involvement in making arms. A case has been filed against the duo,” he added.
