Pasting of posters on walls by the outlawed Sarbahara group has made the people of Bagmara panicky.

It is learnt, after a break of 16 and a half-year, the outlawed activists of Purba Banglar Communist Party(M-L, Lal Pataka) alias Sarbahara group have pasted posters on the walls of various houses of Bagmara recently calling all Sarbahara activists to become reunited aiming at 'eliminating the class-enemies'. The pasting of posters shows the outlawed Sarbahara activists area once again trying to be reorganised in Bagmara.

However, watching the posters, local people remain tight-lipped about passing any remark on the issue. The law enforcement agency members also did not have any idea about the recently re-emerged outlawed group.

However, aiming at the upcoming UP elections, such posters might be pasted by vested quarters to create panic in the area. Officer-in-charge of Bagmara Police station Mostaque Ahmed, however, said law enforcement members remain active to find out and arrest the persons behind pasting the posters.

It is learnt, on the night of August-15, the posters were pasted by the outlawed Sarbahara group on the walls of various buildings and shops of Ektara Bazaar of Jogipara union. The outlaws also hang those posters with rope at the marketplace.

According to sources in 2004, outlawed Sarbahara terrorists brutally slaughtered Pakhi and Gama, nephews of the then BNP led Minister Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu at Naldanga of Natore in broad daylight.

Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu then employed the top JMB( Jamayatul Mujahideen) leaders Shaikh Abdur Rahman and Siddikul Islam Bangla Bhai  to eliminate outlawed Sarbahara terrorists from Rajshahi, Naogaon and Natore districts.

Shaikh Abdur Rahman and Bangla Bhai then resorted to torture on innocent people of Bagmara to find out the Sarbahara terrorists but failed to find them out. Rather, many Sarbahara leaders and activists then joined the JMB and restarted their activities of torture, extortion and various criminal activities in the area. Later, the terrorists of JMB attacked and stabbed local AL leaders including UP AL President and Chairman of Sreepur Union Parishad Moqbul Hossain Mridha and injured him fatally.

However, three of the attackers on Moqbul Hossain were lynched by local people.Later, on the face of protests from AL and its allies, the then BNP-Jamaat led government banned the JMB and awarded death penalty to some JMB leaders.

People of Bagmara, however, informed that a grave panic hasbeen created among people of the locality by watching the posters.

They were apprehending further bloody, untoward incidents in the area anytime.
