He said these while inspecting the security arrangements of various puja mandap of Patiya police station in Chattogram district on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja on Saturday morning. At this time, the leaders of the Upazila Puja Udjapan Parishad presented floral greetings to DIG Habib.
He reviewed the precautions and proper management at each mandaps, along with ensuring adequate police guard, fire safety and emergency medical services.
Chattogram District Police Superintendent Md. Saiful Islam Santu BPM, Additional Police Superintendent (Crime and Operations) Md. Sirajul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Patiya Police Station and leaders of the local Puja Udjapan Parishad were present during the inspection.
