An orientation workshop was organized by Munshiganj District Information Office under the project titled ‘Awareness Communication Program on Child and Women Development (Phase 5). The orientation workshop was held in the union office on Tuesday at 11:30 am in collaboration with Rampal Union Parishad.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rubayet Hayat Shiplu was present as the chief guest at the workshop. District Information Officer Khandaker Touhid welcomed the workshop. Rampal UP Chairman Md. Bachchu Sheikh presided over the function and Dr. Saeed Al Mamun, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer was present as the special guest. The orientation workshop was attended by 40 representatives including journalists, civil society representatives, UP members, women members and primary school teachers.
Speaking as the chief guest, Rubayet Hayat Shiplu said, “We are all working together so that child marriage and drugs do not increase." The developmental works of the society can be taken forward.
