Online VAT system is gradually getting full form. Officials of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) said that 16 types of services including registration, return submission and tax payment are available online at present.
NBR officials also said that online company audit facility will also be launched soon. As a result of automation, revenue collection is also increasing.After going through discussions and preparations for a long time, the implementation of the new VAT law started from July 2019. Online VAT system was encouraged by this law to simplify the collection process and to stop fraud and harassment.
