One person named Islam (62) was killed and another person was seriously injured as CNG-run three-wheeler collided head-on with trolley at Pach Dhopadah on Santhia-Dhulawuri road in Pabna.
The victim man was identified as Abdus Samad Sardar (58).
Deceased Islam's house is in Doharjani village of the upazila and injured Abdus Samad's house is in Goeshbaria village of the same upazila.
Tuesday noon, a CNG-run three wheeler heading toward Santhia from Dhulauri collided head-on with a trolley coming from opposite direction.
Later, the locals rescued the injured and admitted them to Santhia Health Complex.
Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun, RMO of Santhia Health Complex, said Islam, who was seriously injured, died within a few minutes while under the care of the primary doctor.
The seriously injured Abdus Samad was sent to Pabna General Hospital.
