One killed in Chuadanga road accident

One staff of a biscuit factory in Damurhuda was killed in a road accident at village Joyrampur on Chuadanga-Jibannagar road on June 9 over a colliding head on between Motor Cycle and medicine carrying covered van. 

The deceased was identified as Shamim Hossain, 24, son of Shahabul Hossain of village Loknathpur in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district who worked at Mayer Doa Biscuit Factory.

According to Ferdous Wahid, OC of Damurhuda Police Station and deceased’s family sources, the victim was going to his house by motor cycle for  taking lunch, when he reached at place, an opposite direction medicine carrying covered van bearing No. Dhaka Metro Ma 54-1921 collided head on the motor cycle leaving the motorcyclist injured. Local sent the injured person to Damurhuda health complex and on duty doctor Afrin Akhtar declared him dead after examining. 

Receiving information, police rushed the incident place and seized the covered van. Hamidur Rahman, driver of the van was arrested by police, who is inhabitant of village Bolorampur in Pangsha upazila of Rajbari district. No case was filed until writing the news.
