Members of Detective Branch (DB) of Chuadanga Police arrested one person and recovered 72 bottles of phensidyl from a house of Sutia village under Jibannagar Upazila of Chuadanga on Tuesday.
The detainee is Mizanur Rahman, son of Daud Mondal, resident of Sutia village of the Upazila.
According to a press release of Chuadanga District Police Media Cell, on information, a team of Detective Branch of Chuadanga Police, led by Ferdous Wahed, Officer-in-Charge of Detective Branch, raided the house on the day and detained him. The law enforcers also recovered the bottles of phensidyl after searching the house. A case was filed with Jibannagar Police Station in this connection. The detainee and the recovered bottles of phensidyl were handed over to Jibannagar police station
