One person was shots by some miscreants at village Nastipur in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district and died at Chuadanga Sadar Hospital on December 29 at about 2:45 am.
The deceased was identified as Hazrot Ali, 55, son of Rohich Uddin of village Nastipur in Damurhuda upazila of the district. According to deceased son Toufique, his father was sleeping at their house on the night, some miscreants entered into the house and shot on him. The inmates of the house woke up hearing the bullet shoots, found Hazrot Ali received bullets on the head and took him to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Dr Sohorab Hossain, Medical Officer of the hospital said, he was admitted on December 29 at 1:20 am and died at about 2:45 am. AHM Lutful Kabir, OC of Darshana Thana, said police investigation is going on and raided some areas for arrest of the killers.
