A man died after falling down from a bridge at Atrai upazila in Naogaon on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at Digha Maitripara area under Ahsangonj union of the upazila.
The deceased has been identified as one Shafir Mondol, 55, son of late Sabar Ali Mondol of Digha Sadarpara village under the upazila.
Eyewitnesses and family members informed that Shafir Mondol was sitting on the bridge in the morning. Suddenly he fell down from the bridge due to dizziness and died on the spot.
Locals later recovered the body.
Mobarok Hossain, officer-in-charge of Atrai Thana said that he heard the matter from the locals.
