Dhallywood popular model turned actress Nusraat Faria Mazhar finished shooting for her upcoming film titled ‘Bhoy’, directed by Raja Chanda opposite Tollywood actor Ankush Hazra.
In 2015, the actress made her debut with the India-Bangladesh co-produced film opposite Ankush in 'Aashiqui'. Later in 2019, the duo teamed up again for film ‘Bibaho Obhijaan’ directed by Birsa Dasgupta and produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. Same year Faria joined Ankush in another project titled 'Bhoy', a thriller genre directed by Raja Chanda.
The shooting of the film was postponed due to the pandemic. Earlier, this month the shooting has started again in South 24 Pargana’s Baruipur after three long years.
Nusraat Faria posted on Instagram and said that the entire shooting of 'Bhoy' ended on Friday after continuous work. The duo will be seen in the film soon. Even though the shooting is over, the dubbing of 'Bhoy' is still on process the actress added and that the release date of the film will be finalised after dubbing next month.
The film is produced by Sandeep Jaiswal under the banner of Echo Entertainment. Regarding the film he said that the Ankush-Faria duo was liked by the audience in the SVF-produced film ‘Bibaho Obhijaan’. So, me and director Raja Chanda chose them for this film 'Bhoy'.
The story of the film revolves around a man who is a swimming coach but the sudden turn of events starts scaring him to death. According to source Nusraat Faria will be seen in the role of an ordinary Bengali girl as a school teacher who teaches Ankush's autistic younger sister.
Apart from Nusraat Faria and Ankush Hazra it also features Varun Chakraborty, Abhishek Singh, Asim Roy Chowdhury, Amitabh Gangopadhyay, Siddharth Chatterjee, Arunabh Dutt and others.
