A seminar titled ‘Revisiting Malaysia-Bangladesh Relations: In pursuit of a New Era of Mutual Prospects’ was held on Thursday at Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, jointly organized by Northern University Bangladesh (NUB), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and International Islamic University Malaysia Alumni Bangladesh.
The Keynote Speaker of the seminar was Chairman of NUB Trust Professor Dr Abu Yousuf Md Abdullah.
Professor Dr Nor Faridah and Abdul Manaf, deputy rector Internationalization and Global Network, IIUM was the moderator. Professor Dr Ishtiaq Hossain, department of Political Science, IIUM and Professor Dr Kazi Shahdat Kabir, registrar, NUB and president of IIUM Alumni BD Chapter was the discussants of the programme.
The key discussion points of the seminar were about the strategic partnership, trade relationship and foreign direct investment in between Bangladesh and Malaysia.
