Prof Dr_Harun_Ur_Rashid, Vice Chancellor of National University, has said that no development is possible without proper education. On the other hand, the quality education is not ensured without well-trained and dedicated teachers. He said these at the concluding session and certificate giving ceremony of 11th batch of College Education Development Project (CEDP) on the NU campus in Gazipur on Saturday.
Prof Harun_Ur_Rashid also said that the education at university level must be innovative and creative. The teachers and students must foster professionalism for overall development of education. Otherwise, the aims and objectives of education won’t be thwarted, he added. A total of 148 teachers from four subjects participated in the four-week long CEDP training course.
Dean of Primary Education, Training and Research Center Prof Dr Md Anwar Hossain presided over the programme while Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university Prof Dr MD Moshiur Rahman, advisors of the course Prof Dr Farukh Ahmed, Prof Dr Gobinda Chakraborti, Assistant Prof Md Abdur Rahim, Prof Dr Sharmin Musa were present at the concluding ceremony, among others.
