The students of National University (NU) held a human chain program in Rajshahi, demanding modifications in the examination routine of honours fourth year of National University. On Wednesday, March 27, the general students of the National University held this hour-long human chain program at Sahebbazar Zero Point in the city of Rajshahi.

The students said that the Honours fourth-year examination will start on May 19, and the routine includes a day off between each test. But they will suffer in this, as one and a half months is allotted for taking any exam generally. There, the National University authorities want to finish their exams in a hurry.

They require at least three days off between each exam. Because it is their last year, if the results are bad for any reason, the year will be lost. As a result, the students had to undergo this routine to voluntarily commit suicide. Students in the science department will be in more trouble.

Suraiya Hasan Trisha, a student of the Rajshahi College Chemistry Department; Shammi Akhter Bonti, a student of the Marketing Department; and Maruf Billah of the Physics Department spoke in the rally held during the Human Bonding Program.
