The North South University Social Services Club (NSUSSC) recently organized an "Iftar Distribution and Eid Clothing 2024" program to spread joy and happiness among underprivileged children in the Noorani Islamia Madrasa and Orphanage at Mirpur on April 3, 2024. The initiative aimed to share the spirit of Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr with everyone, especially those who are less fortunate.

During the program, NSUSSC members spent time with the children of the madrasa, broke their fast with them, and distributed new clothes to around 300 students for Eid celebrations. The event was a heartfelt endeavor to offer moments of felicity, enlighten their lives, and foster companionship. The initiative was appreciated by the children and their guardians, who expressed their gratitude towards the NSUSSC members.

Mowrin Islam, the president of NSUSSC, expressed her satisfaction with the initiative and stated that their noble endeavor was to spread the blessings of Ramadan and the joy of Eid among all, especially little kids and orphans. She added that seeing the children's faces illuminated with heavenly smiles, sparkling with delight, was heartwarming.

Meshbaul Hasan Chowdhury, the club’s faculty advisor, remarked that the primary objective of the initiative was to demonstrate genuine responsibility towards the underprivileged children and allow them to partake in this sacred celebration. He also expressed his hope to continue this tradition for years to come.

The NSUSSC is committed to serving society and its people, and this initiative demonstrates their dedication to spreading joy and unity. Their efforts to involve children in the holy month of Ramadan and Eid ul-Fitr celebrations are commendable and set an example for others to follow.
