Noakhali Science and Technology University Teachers’ Association (NSTUTA) will form a fund to help the students whose families are affected amid the countrywide lockdown due to coronavirus.
The fund will be created with the participation of university teachers, officials, former students, financially stable students and parents, a NSTUTA notice said on Friday.
It said the fund will be distributed after preparing the lists of the unstable students with the help of the departments and different organizations of the university. Privacy of the recipients will be maintained, it added.
