The administration of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) has not yet been able to identify the culprits involved in the vandalism of NSTU Journalists Association (NSTUJA) Office, which happened recently (16 July).

Though almost 2 weeks has passed away of this incident, there has been no progress of the investigation of this incident.  Assistant Proctor of  NSTU      named Md. Maznur Rahman was given the authority to investigate this incident.

This delay of investigation makes NSTUJA more worried about achieving justice and ensuring punishment of the culprits involved in in this incident.

The NSTUJA has demanded quick investigation and urged the university administration for punishment of  the culprits involved in this incident of vandalism.  Otherwise, they will give a strict programme with other the journalist’s organisations of all over Bangladesh.

Asked about the progress of the investigation, Md.Maznur Rahman said, "On Sunday (July 26), the last working day, I have received the office copy of the investigation committee and I have started the investigation on behalf of the proctorial body. He also said," The 1 member investigation cannot be formed .

I will apply to the university administration to expand the investigation committee and form a three-member committee when the campus will open after Eid. Hopefully we will be able to submit the investigation report within the next 4/5 working days.
