Teachers, officials and employees of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) demanded lifting of Education Ministry's ban on recruitment.
They called for taking effective action to solve the issue of all types of recruitment by 30 September, which was closed from April of 2019 by the direction of the Ministry of Education.
They raised the demand from a formed in front of the central Shaheed Minar on the campus on Sunday. The programme was conducted by Maznur Rahman, General Secretary of NSTU Teachers Association.
In the human chain, NSTU Registrar Prof. Abul Hossain, NSTU Teachers Association's President Prof. Dr. Newaz Mohammed Bahadur, General Secretary Maznur Rahman, Vice -President Dr. Anisuzzaman Rimon, Chairman of Department of Microbiology Professor Dr. Firoz Ahmed, President of Officers Association Shakhawat Hossain, General Secretary Mezbah Uddin Palash and a large number of teachers, officials and employees of the university were present.
