Due to the pandemic condition of Coronavirus (COVID-19),the academic and administrative activities of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) have been suspended indefinitely until further instruction and the university authority have declared it. On Saturday (11 April), the information was given by a press notice signed by the University Registrar Professor Dr Md Abul Hossain.
According to the notice, due to the pandemic condition of Coronavirus (COVID-19) the academic activities (practical and theoretical classes and exams) and administrative activities of the university have been suspended until further instruction. If the academic activities start again,the students will be informed before 4 days through the university website.
It also said in the notice that,the university offices will be closed until 25 April and Emergency services are available during this time. If the public holidays are not increased, the offices will open during the Holy Ramadan and the office time is 9 am to 3.30 pm. During the holidays, the students are requested to follow all the etiquettes and all the rules of the government and stay in their homes.
