NSTU’s 97 students got NST fellowship

Total 97 students of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) have been selected  for the National Science and Technology(NST) Fellowship 2021-22 for the research project. The Ministry of Science and Technology is funding for this fellowship.

On 31 December, this information is known from the list published on the website of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In the list, total 2488 students and researchers are listed. Among them candidates have been nominated in the 888 physical science category, 882 in the food and agricultural science category, 676 in the biology and medical science category and 42 candidates in the renewal category.

Among NSTU students, 26 have been nominated in the Physical Science  category, 6 in the Food and Agricultural Science category and 65 in the Biology and Medical Science  category. They will receive 54000 tk for their research  project.  It may be mentioned that National Science and Technology Fellowship has been introduced from the financial year 1977-1978.

This grant is given to MS / MPhil, PhD and post-doctoral students / researchers studying / researching in public universities / research Institutes.
