A total of 18 teachers from Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) have been selected for special research grant given by Ministry of Science and Technology in the field of science and technology for 2020-21 fiscal year.
The Science and Technology ministry released the name of the recipients, including the NSTU teachers, for a total of 579 research projects on its website on Wednesday.
Among the NSTU teachers, four are from Fisheries and Marine Science department of Pharmacy department each and two each from Department of Agriculture, Department of Biochemistry and molecular biology, Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management, Department of Oceanography and Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
The Ministry has been providing research grants in fields of Science and Technology since 1997-98 fiscal year.
