Nora Fatehi to visit Dhaka in December

Bollywood actress, singer and dancer Nora Fatehi, who has conquered the hearts of millions of viewers across the globe, to appear as the chief guest at an award ceremony in Dhaka this December.

It is learnt that the actress will perform in an awards ceremony titled ‘IGA International Glory Awards 2022’ in Dhaka, presented by Mirror Group. On Wednesday Aug 10, one of the organisers of the event Shahjahan Bhuiyan, confirmed the matter to several media outlets. 

Bhuiyan told the press that they have finalised the deal and schedule with Nora. She will perform a few of her popular dance numbers at a convention centre in the capital during the prize giving event.

Nora Fatehi, of Moroccan descent, was born and raised in Canada. She made her film debut in the Bollywood film ‘Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans’, five years ago. After that, the 28-year-old artiste quickly hit the shelves. She has been recognised as an “item girl” in Bollywood. She is equally appreciated as a dancer. She has appeared in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil language films. 

She gained popularity in Telugu cinema by doing item numbers in films like ‘Temper,’ ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Kick 2’ and has also starred in two Malayalam films, ‘Double Barrel’ and ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni.’

She first caught audience attention back in 2015 when she was a contestant on the Indian reality television show ‘Bigg Boss 9’ and was evicted on Day 84. In 2016, she was a participant in another reality television dance show titled ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.’

She appeared in the Bollywood film ‘Satyameva Jayate’ in which she was seen in the recreated version of the song ‘Dilbar’ which crossed 20 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release, making it the first Hindi song to have garnered such numbers in India. She has also worked in Hindi films like ‘Stree’, ‘Batla House’ and ‘Bharat’ and equally working on the small screen and YouTube channel. She is often seen on screen as a guest in music videos and shows.
