A 95-year old woman Isharun Nessa was ousted from her house by her four daughters and a step son. Finding no way, the hapless aged woman took shelter at the corner of a shop at Mirjapore under Atoari uapzila of Panchgarh district and was weeping round the clock.

Even during this Coronasituation, her son and daughters ousted her from her house and local Public Representatives are also in awe since none of the son and the daughters is being agreed to take responsibility to maintain the Nonagenarian woman.

Local people informed,  after the Independence, Isharan Nessa's husband Majat Ali died. Her elder daughter also died and her four other daughters were married in various areas of the union and she used to live her husband's house with her stepson. But, after the death of her stepson, she sold the house and start to live at the house of her third-daughter Azima Begum at Pakhortola village of the same union. She used to earn her livelihood by begging and staying there for last 15-year.

One month ago, Isharan went to visit the house of one of her daughters and got hurt into her leg. From then, she is unable to walk. Under such sondition, Azima failed to maintain her mother and sent him to the house of her stepbrother Zahirul.  Zahirul took care of injured  Isharan for one more month and resent her to the house of Aziam but after several days of caring, Azima again left her mother to the house of Zahirul.

At a stage, Azima and Zahirul left her at Union Parishad premises on May-6 evening and did not take any step to get their mother back home even at night. Some local young men, however, managed food for the deserted woman. Later local Chairman and Members sent her to the house of Azima but on Thursday noon, Azima again left her mother in front of a shop at Mirjapur under Uttara Bazaar. None of her daughters and son took any step to sheter her to house of any one of them even during storm and rain. As a result, she was seen weeping there till Friday noon last.

An weeping Isharan requested the local people to build her a cottage on the  land of her husband since all her daughters and son abandoned her.

Her step son Zahirul informed, he was very poor and still he took care of her aged mother at his house for last one month. But, his wife is also ill that is why it was not being possible to take further care of the mother, as a result, he sent her to the house of Azima but her own daughter Azima also ousted her from the house.

Azizma Begum, meanwhile, said she herself was ill and it is not possible for her to take care of her ailing mother. There was no room to shelter her mother. She can not walk that is why she took her mother to the house of his step brother. But she did not get further shelter there and she was ultimately abandoned.

Local UP Member Amirul Islam said, they were in a fix since none of her daughters and son agree to shelter and take care of her.

UP Chairman Omar Ali said, Isharan sold her house and properties and handed over the money to her daughter Azima where she had been staying for years. She also handed over all the money to Azima which she earned through begging. Now, she being unable to beg any more for her leg injury, her daughter has also abandoned her. He said, he would give relief to her but someone should agree to take care of the aged woman.
