Today is the first Baishakh. The biggest festival of Bangalees. Millions rejoice in spending the Nabo Barsho each year irrespective of their religion and cast. The effect of coronavirus outbreak has also brought theis beloved festival of Bengali people to a naught. Every year, numerous dramas are made with the Pahela Baiashakh and Eid festivals in sight, but this year there is no such arrangement from anywhere because of the outbreak. People are spending their days locked up in their homes because of the crises. All kinds of shooting has stopped. So no new drama was created around Baishakh. Many television serials have been stopped for not shooting. Meanwhile, TV channels are trying to organize programmes for the Pahela Baishakh to entertain the home-contained people. But they are all organizing the old content.

But because of the epidemic of Coronavirus, we do not have much to say. Yet, much of what we have been able to do is to entertain the viewer only. We believe that the audience will like this event on Baishakhi TV. After all, I would just say, be careful, stay home, be well.”

Besides, a special drama 'Ek Baishakhe' will be broadcast on NTV today at 12:20 pm today. Tuhin Hossain directed the play by Sarwar Reza Jimmy. Starring Afran Nisho, Tanjin Tisha, Priyanti. The play was first aired on NTV in the 2018.
