State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said that there is no alternative to mathematics in building a smart and modern nation.

Addressing the chief guest at the Meherpur Mathematics Festival 2023 and Education Festival organized by the Gangni Maths family at Gangni Degree College on Friday morning, he also said that the students that there is no alternative to knowing mathematics to reach the desired goal of what you want to be in life, where you want to go. “To take important decisions in life, one must have mastery over mathematics. Thanking the organizers, the minister said that more and more such events should be held to make the next generation science-oriented.” He added.
Saif Hasan Kaushik, the president of the organization, and Abir Shafi Bindu, the founder president of ‘Gangni Ganit Pariberr’, moderated the event and Meherpur 2 (Gangni) MP Sahiduzzaman Khokon was present as the guest of honor. District Commissioner Shamim Hasan, Police Superintendent Rafiul Alam, Gangni Upazila Parishad Chairman MA Khalek, UNO Sajia Siddika Setu, Gangni Municipality Mayor Ahmed Ali were present as special guests on the occasion.
About 1150 students of the district participate in this festival to improve their skills to participate in competitive exams. This exam is conducted under very strict quality control.
