Education Deputy Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel distributed winter clothes among the needy and poor at Andarkilla Maternity premises on Friday afternoon at the initiative of Swechasebak League leader Amirul Islam Shahnur.
Chattogram Mohanagar Awami League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor spoke as the chief guest. He said, when winter approaches, the helpless, poor, needy people are worried. Hoping how they will adapt to the harsh winter. The severe fog and cold do not limit the suffering of the helpless, needy, poor marginalized people. Those who are suffering this winter, if we try to do something from our own position with these poor people, then their suffering will be eased.
He also said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has introduced various allowances including supply of TCB products, thinking about the marginalized people in the middle of the financial crisis around the world. To make the country more prosperous, Sheikh Hasina has no choice but to build a smart Bangladesh in the next election.
