After winning much praise through playing the character of Abbas, an old Dhaka-based character, in his last film, actor Nirab Hossain is all set to begin his next venture.
Nirab will play a university student in his next film, ‘Basanta Bikel’, which will be directed by Rafiq Shikder.
“’Basanta Bikel’ is based on an atypical plot. I am very excited about the film where I will play the character of a university student named Rudra. The film will revolve around a love story between a Muslim boy and a Hindu girl,” said Nirab.
“The other cast members have not been confirmed yet. The film will go on the shooting floor in October,” he added.
He has previously acted in two films directed by Rafiq Shikder namely ‘Bhola Toh Jay Na Tarey’ and ‘Hridoy Jurey’.
“I always enjoy working with Rafiq Shikder. I hope the film lovers across the country will find my upcoming film entertaining,” said Nirab, who made his silver screen debut with Shahin Shomon directed ‘Mon Jekhane Hridoy Shekhane’.
Nirab has acted in many Dhallywood films like ‘Eito Bhalobasha’, ‘Banglasia’, ‘Game’, ‘Bhola To Jay Na Tare’ and ‘Game Returns’. Besides, he also acted in an Indian film directed by Sameer Khan. The film stars Kavita Radheshyam, Meera and others.
