With one more death in Rajshahi, the total death toll at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital stands at nine during the last 24-hr period ending Thursday morning.
RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani informed, among the dead one is from Rajshahi, two each from Pabna ,Natore and Naogaon and one each from Chapainawabganj and Kushtia. Of them four are males and five are females.
He further informed that a total of 37 new patients have been admitted to the unit and 49 left the hospital after treatment during the same time. A total of 342 patients were taking treatment at the unit as against 513 beds during Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, after testing samples of 255 persons on Wednesday, results of 73 were positive, which is 0.17 per cent less than that of the previous day. The rate of detection on Wednesday was 28.63 per cent as against 28.80 per cent the previous day.
