A total of nine people were killed and three others injured in separate road accidents in Bogura, Mymensingh, Chuadanga, Netrakona, Rajshahi and Noakhali within 36 hours.
Our Bogura correspondent says: Two adolescents were killed in a road accident on the Bogura second bypass road in Baria of Sabgram area under Sadar upazila of the district Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Mahinur Rahman, 13, son of Md Sumon, resident of Bagbari village under Gabtali upazila, and Sitab, 14, son of Uzzal Rahman, resident of Durgahata village of the same upazila.
Mymensingh correspondent reports: Sub-Inspector (SI) of Mymensingh Kotwali Model Police Station Moniruzzaman (50) was killed in a road accident. The accident took place on Monday (February 12) around 6:15 pm in the Vradoba area of Bhaluka Upazila on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway. The dead has been identified as Moniruzzaman, son of Mojibur Rahman of Rajballabpur village in Sherpur Sadar Upazila.
Chuadanga Correspondent says: A motor cycle rider was killed in road accident at village Ramnagar in Damurhuda Upazila of Chuadanga district on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Saidul Islam, 45, son of Majer Mandal of Hatikata village in Sadar Upazila of the district.
Netrakona Correspondent says: At least two people were killed when a truck rammed a CNG-run auto rickshaw on Shamganj-Durgapur road in Netrakona on Tuesday (February 13).
The deceased were identified as Muhit Khan, son of Abdur Rahman, and Anwar Hossain, son of Mujibur Rahman.
Rajshahi Correspondent reports: Two persons were killed when a train dashed their firewood-laden trolley at a railway crossing in Mohanpur area under Paba Upazila in the district here this afternoon.
Abdul Karim, Rajshahi Railway Station Master, said the deceased were identified as trolley driver Mofazzal Hossain, 35, and its helper Habibur Rahman, 23.
Noakhali correspondent adds: A man was killed and another injured in a road accident on the Noakhali-Feni regional highway in Setu Bhanga West Bazar area under Begumganj upazila of the district Monday.
The deceased was identified as Abu Noor Mohammad Masum, 38, son of Kamal Uddin, resident of Paschim Syedpur village of under Sadar upazila in Lakshmipur.
