Nilphamari locked down

The local administration has put the Nilphamari district under lockdown after two more people, including a 16-year-old boy, tested positive at Sadar and Dimla upazilas of the district on Tuesday.

Civil Surgeon of Nilphamari Ranjit Kumar said that the two people were diagnosed with Covid-19 after their rests were done at Rangpur Medical College Hospital. Six people have so far been infected with coronavirus in the district, he said.  Following the detection of the two more cases, the local administration put the entire district under lockdown.
